How to Order
We support hospitals around the world in bringing Rapid Precision Medicine™ to critically ill newborns and children.
Clinical services may only be ordered by a licensed provider. We are unable to provide services directly to patient families.

Genetic counselors are available to support informed consent.

Request a sample testing kit if this is your first time ordering or if you need replacements.
Consent the patient or family using the requisition form and "About WGS" parent information sheet available in the Clinician Toolbox.
Specimen Requirements
Preferred specimen: whole blood in EDTA tubes (two tubes recommended for identity confirmation).
DNA extracted in a CLIA lab may be submitted in place of whole blood (minimum 2 μg at 20 ng/μL).
Saliva may be sent for confirmatory testing using Oragene DX OGD-500 kits only.
Label specimens with at least two identifiers (e.g., patient name and DOB).
Requisition & Documentation
Complete the requisition form via the Ordering Portal or download the PDF.
Upload clinical notes to the portal, send via encrypted email, include with the shipment, or fax to (858) 966-8092.
For faster turnaround, provide searchable PDF documentation when possible.
Packaging & Shipping
Package samples according to specimen requirements and include the requisition form.
Ship First Overnight with a cold pack Monday through Saturday (samples accepted until 3 pm PST).

Results, Billing, and Support
Provisional reports are returned in under 3 days; final reports typically within 7–14 days (≤30 for standard WGS).
Urgent findings are communicated by phone, followed by electronic notification.
